The United Macedonians Organization of Canada cordially invites you to its annual ‘Goce Delchev Night’ banquet which is held in honor of the great Macedonian freedom fighter – Goce Delchev.
He was an astonishing visionary and an important 19th century revolutionary figure for Macedonia during a time when the Macedonian people were under the occupation of the Ottoman Empire. Goce Delchev’s dedication to freedom and unity can be summarized by his timeless quote “I understand the world solely as a field for cultural competition among nations”.

The banquet will be held February 6th, 2010, at 7:00 pm, at the Macedonian Orthodox Church “St. Clement of Ohrid” Banquet Centre, located at 76 Overlea Blvd., in East York, Toronto.
The United Macedonians Organization of Canada is the oldest and largest non-profit Macedonian cultural organization in the Diaspora, addressing the interests and needs of the Macedonian community in Canada and the support of Human Rights of Macedonians around the world.
Other dignitaries from Canada and the Republic of Macedonia will be in attendance.
